What we know so far about Euphoria season 3: Release date, trailer, storyline, and more

The second season of Euphoria has kept fans interested in every detail of their messy lives. Because of this, we’re eagerly anticipating what happens to every one of our favorite characters in season three. And does Tom Holland ever make a surprise appearance?

The Euphoria fans are saddened by the news that Cat won’t be returning to the show for season three. Barbie Ferreira didn’t give a reason. The actress revealed in an emotional Instagram post on Sunday that she had to say goodbye tearfully after four years of embodying Kat.

The journey she made into who she is today was a joy for me to watch, and I hope many of you saw yourself in her. I put all my care and love into her, and I hope you felt it. Please tell her to thank you for giving me the chance to be a part of her life. The rest of the cast is expected to return on screen soon, and fans look forward to seeing them all again.

In season two, there are new characters

Zendaya plays Rue. Hunter Schafer plays Jules, Sydney Sweeney plays Cassie, Jacob Elordi plays Nate, Alexa Demie plays Maddy, Maude Apatow plays Lexi and many others. We’d likely see a new cast in season three, too, since we got new characters in season two. In season 2 of Euphoria, there were many cliffhangers, leaving fans wondering what would happen to Maddy and Cassie if Fezco and Ashtray were still alive.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Zendaya (who plays Rue) revealed some more information about season three. In August 2022, she told them she looked forward to exploring the characters after high school. As for all the characters, I’d like to see what they look like when they’re trying to figure out what to do with their lives after high school is over.

Season three release date update

It was special about the second season because we could better understand it. There’s so much talent. You want everybody to get a chance to have that. We should be able to do that again in the third season.

A release date for Euphoria’s season three has not been announced yet. In an update on season three’s release date, actor Eric Dane shared that, according to Dane, rumors have it that season three may start in 2024.

In a subsequent comment, Dane revealed that season three filming would probably begin in November. However, we’re not sure. I haven’t heard anything. Things are always changing. Season two was delayed because of Coronavirus-related production problems and dropped in January 2022.

Emmy award for Zendaya

Season one launched in June 2019, while two standalone episodes dropped in January 2021. Therefore, a 2024 release date makes sense if we have a two-year gap between seasons. In light of how popular the first two seasons have been and Zendaya winning an Emmy for her leading role, it should be no surprise that a third season is being made.

But still, fans are thrilled. Similarly, HBO announced the third season of Euphoria during the previous season, as they did with the second season. That is to say, Euphoria’s second season was announced while season one was still in progress.
