Wendy Williams journey as a sober person has gotten worse. After a steady interval, she returns to her old habits and leaves for Rehab.
In 2019 her habits worsened, and she fell into her old habitual trap. She went straight from Wine to Vodka.
William is back on her rehab journey, although her Rehab center is not disclosed. She chose this time to reflect on her actions to get better. So she can return to her career life as a better person to achieve more.
Wendy was frank about her addiction in the talk show The Wendy Williams Show in 2019 after a two-month break.
During the show, she revealed her decision to live at the “Sober house” for a while and all her efforts to stay healthy. She said,
“I’ve struggled with cocaine in my past,” she told the audience. “And never went to a place to get the treatment, I don’t know how.”
She explained to her audience that she is supervised by a 24-hour “sober coach” and a driver.
Due to her addiction, she had a fallout with the production house of Debmar-Mercury. They decided to run “The Wendy William Show S13” without her.
This year she also revealed her addiction journey on “Good Morning America.” She spoke exclusively about her health, legal disputes, and being accused as an “incapacitated person” by Wells Fargo.
Since Williams is already fighting a battle within herself with the addiction, she has been positive throughout. There’s only hope that things fall in place for her and that she recovers from her addiction issues.
