Her pathology results showed her cancer to be stage 1A. Chemotherapy had been decided to be unnecessary because the likelihood of her cancer returning was low enough.

Before their wedding in 2014, John Molner had had a tumour on his liver surgically removed, leading her to start radiation on Sept. 7. She completed her final round of radiation last week.
