Threat to U.S. democracy! MAGA Republican represents extremism that threatens the foundations of the republic

On Thursday, Joe Biden charged Republican allies of Donald Trump with undermining the country’s democratic foundations and voters to reject extremism ahead of midterm elections in November. To remain a democratic republic, MAGA Republican supporters are foisting unprecedented threats upon the ability of the United States. 

Biden had a rare 24-minute primetime speech delivered from Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy, said, Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans represent extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic. Equality and democracy are under assault. 

In the Republican Party, the president is increasingly concerned about anti-democratic trends. He recast the stakes of his own 2024 re-election bid. Recently, Biden began lashing out at Trump in 2022 to high inflation at home and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and enduring two bouts of COVID-19 over the summer.

MAGA Republicans

Biden said they do not believe in the rule of law and do not even recognize the people’s will. MAGA refuse to accept the results of a free election, and they work state after state to give the power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy.

Biden condemned MAGA philosophy as semi-fascism and Republican threats against the FBI after a search of Trump’s Florida home as sickening. A democratic fundraiser said donors are watching Biden’s performance over the next few months to determine whether to back him in the 2024 presidential run or not. Some people decided that Biden was 79 as he wanted to step aside and make way for new leadership.

There’s a threat to free elections

Biden set his remarks in a venue to signal the historical significance of his appeal where the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution were adopted. Historians, legal scholars, and elected officials say the country’s free election and commitment to the rule of law hang in the balance. 

Certifying the result of the next presidential election to Trump sympathizers where some of them never accept Biden’s 2020 victory. Most Republican voters believe that Trump won the election.
