‘Sister Wives’ Season 17: Has Kody Brown and Christe officially announced their divorce?

Kody Brown and Christine were split to be shown in TLC’s upcoming Sister Wives season. It was one of the long-running shows that began in 2010 with Brown family Patriarch Kody and his wives in plural marriage. Kody was currently in a relationship with Meri, Robyn and Janelle Brown. The fourth woman was Christine, who got previously married and had confirmed their split.

The split was confirmed in the trailer!

The trailer of Sister Wives Season 17 confirmed Christine and Kody’s fallout in their relationship with footage where other wives of Kody reacted to the news. In November 2021, Christine announced on Instagram that her relationship with Kody had ended. Christine wrote a statement, ‘After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart, and I have made the difficult decision to leave.
She also mentioned, ‘we will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family, asking for your grace and kindness as we navigate this stage within our family.

A great deal of sadness!

In the grand opening of Mike Tyson’s one-man show “mike Tyson’: Undisputed Truth – Live on Stage’, Robyn Brown, Meri Brown, Kody Brown, Christine Brown and Janelle Brown from Sister Wives are together. Kody said the statement, ‘Christine’s decision to split is a deal of sadness. Kody released his statement in the show: ‘We enjoyed years together; I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving on different paths, we will remain committed parents.
Sister Wives Season 16 viewers may not have come as a huge surprise in the confirmation of the split that showed the strain the COVID-19 pandemic was having on Kody and Christine’s relationship. Kody had strict guidelines on his spouses to spend only time in households while he was allowed to travel between different family abodes.

On Season 17 of the TLC show, Christine revealed that Kody is not travelling with their daughter Ysabel when she undergoes surgery. Ysabel was 19; she had to travel to New Jersey in September 2020 to undergo corrective scoliosis surgery. During the Pandemic, Kody refused to travel with Christine and Ysabel. Christine was there with Ysabel throughout her surgery and took care of her. She said, ‘Kody is not here, and that is hard for Ysabel and not me; I didn’t need him anymore.
