Serena Williams made a catchy eye entrance at the Vogue World runway show during New York Fashion Week. She changed heads in a silver metallic Balenciaga dress with a cape.
Serena Williams looks stunning on the tennis court. Everybody present there was the tennis champion as she wanted the room to open the Vogue World runway show during New York Fashion Week on September 12.
For her amazing entrance, Serena stunned in a customized silver metallic Balenciaga design. The glittery, curve-hugging tank dress was paired with a goodly floor-length cape. Earrings that were diamond-adorned, a slicked-back ponytail, and glossy nude lips added more glamour.
While the tennis champion most surely had an all-star moment, she did not walk alone on the ground. Four young girls, who wore white tennis attire and holding rackets, adorably accompanied Serena down the catwalk.

As the 40-year-old skated through the runway, her 2000 interview with NBC, where she discussed her Wimbledon match tournament, played in the background; she said she wanted people to remember her as the girl who changed tennis or just was able to bring something new to the game.
The recording couldn’t have been more poignant, especially since Serena announced she was “evolving away” from tennis in a cover story for Vogue’s September 2022 issue.
She wrote in part that she has thought of this as a transition. Maybe the best word to describe what she was up to is evolution. She was there to tell people that she was evolving away from tennis toward other things that were important to her.
According to Olympic gold medalist, growing her family with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, is one of her priorities. They both are mom and dad to 4-year-old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.
She said if she has to choose between building her tennis résumé and building her family. “She chooses the latter.” Of course, Serena wasn’t the only A-lister to take Vogue World by storm.
The magazine called the event a blend between a fashion show and a street fair. It included guests such as Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Kanye West, Kourtney Kardashian, and a dozen more stars.
