It’s officially time for pumpkin spice, cozy weather, and scary movies. The Curse of Bridge Hollow is one of the movies we can’t wait to see this Halloween, and now we have a sneak peek at the scary story. Kelly Rowland plays Emily, the family matriarch, in the family-friendly horror comedy. Stranger Things star Priah Ferguson will play Emily’s teenage daughter Sydney, and comedian Marlon Wayans will play the “Halloween-hating dad.”
At the start of the trailer, the family is driving away from Brooklyn to a new town. Emily tells her daughter she should, “Bridge Hollow deserves a chance. A lot can happen in a small town.”

Sydney is amazed by the Halloween decorations in their new neighborhood and says excitedly, “Check out those zombies!” Until they come to life, it’s all fun and games. Her dad tells one of the new neighbors, “I mean, do you believe in Santa Claus?” that he thinks Halloween is “kind of silly.” Later, Sydney is seen at school telling a group of friends about her dad’s doubts, saying, “My dad teaches science. He doesn’t really celebrate Halloween, then.”
Well, it doesn’t take long for the father and daughter to get a rude awakening. According to the official synopsis, they are soon “forced to work together to save their town after an old, mischievous spirit makes Halloween decorations come to life and cause chaos.” When they discover that Stingy Jack, a “wicked man” who died in the house, is still there, things start to get pretty scary. But Emily says, “That’s not enough to scare me.” “This is where we live. We’re not going to die right now.”
