Secret Headquarters, a new movie from Ant-Man, skips cinemas

With Secret Headquarters, is returning to the superhero world, but you won’t be able to see it on the big screen. In June, it was revealed that and had decided to skip the planned cinema release of their new film.

As an alternative, it will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on August 12 in the US and on August 13 in the UK. He told Digital Spy in advance of its release that he had been surprised, but now he understands why it was undertaken.

“I was personally sad at first. But now, everything is going to streaming, so it’s changing so much.” It used to be that I watched movies only in theatres, but now everyone wants to watch them at home. “Their screens are bigger, and their audio is completely different,” he said.

“Paradise+ has some great shows, like The Offer and Yellowstone, so it’s a good streaming service. Initially, it was a shock, but it kind of makes sense now.” His villainous side is on display as he plays weapons dealer Ansel Argon who wants to exploit the technology that powers the world’s new superhero, The Guard (Owen Wilson), for his own gain.

Captain Sean Irons, who played Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams during The Guard’s first encounter with The Source, is Argon’s, right-hand man. However, does he understand the true motivations of his boss?

The streaming release of Secret Headquarters is likely to benefit the film, according to Williams. “Kids will be able to see it, and it’s a rewatch movie. It’s a movie that kids will watch over and over again. It’s great that the movie stays accessible during its transition from a theatre.”

“A big screen at Paramount in LA was used to screen it for the kids in a screening room, and 20 kids and their friends attended. That was a cool experience.”
