Shortly after news that Ricky Martin was charged with his nephew for allegedly making the wrong accusation of assault and abuse, new claims of sexual assault were noted. The Associated Press said that an anonymous complaint of sexual assault is coming from Dennis Yadiel Sanchez. “The complaint does not directly trigger an arrest because the alleged act is not recent, adding that the cops will be finding and determining whether charges are right or wrong,” they added in a statement. The final dates obtained a statement from Martin’s lawyers, who called the filing “wildly offensive and completely untethered from reality.”

The Accusation

Ricky Martin is charged with the nephew who accused him of domestic abuse and having an affair with him, a claim later recanted. According to some sources, Martin’s lawsuit alleges that Dennis Yadiel Sanchez sent a text to him after he withdrew his restraining order against the singer. In that text, Sanchez allegedly threatened to “assassinate his reputation and integrity” unless Martin gave him the money he asked for. The suit also claimed that before the accusations and the restraining order, Sanchez texted Martin up to ten times a day for months and that a “maladjusted individual wrote the messages.” Martin is asking for an order for Sanchez to finish contacting him and $20 million in damages.

Legal Or Illegal?

In July, news broke that an unknown person had won a temporary restraining order against Martin. That person is no one but his nephew. The latter claimed the two had been in a sexual relationship for almost seven months, during which Sanchez was abused psychologically and physically. Martin said “No” to the charges, and Sanchez later withdrew the claims, telling the court he had done so voluntarily.
