Sarah Beeny said that she hasn’t told her sick father about her recent breast cancer diagnosis because of the effects of his stroke five years ago. Sarah Beeny, who is 50 years old, has talked about why she doesn’t want her sick father to know that she has breast cancer. The property expert was told he had the disease three weeks ago, and he has already had one chemo session.
She said that she was afraid to tell her dad Richard about the diagnosis because he has had trouble remembering things since he had a stroke five years ago.
Sarah was 10 when her mother, Ann, died from the disease. The TV host said that Sarah is afraid to tell her dad about it in case he thinks she is her mother.
In a recent interview, she talked about how Richard keeps forgetting and remembering her. Sarah told The Telegraph, “Sometimes he remembers who I am, and sometimes he forgets. “He gets a lot of things mixed up, and I’m afraid that if I tell him, I’ll be fine, he’ll remember that I have it but not that I’ll be fine. He would mistake me for my mother.” She went on to say that she had “expected” to get the disease because her mother had died of it when she was 39. Sarah also said that her mother’s death was terrible and made her hide a lot of her problems.
She said, “It’s hard for a child to understand death, but I was close to my brother Diccon and my father, and you just move on.”
The only good thing about losing her when I was so young is that she will always be perfect in my mind.
In the caption of her yesterday’s post, the star wrote, “A little pile of hair that isn’t in very good shape is on its way to @officiallittleprincesstrust.
“My trainee hairdressers cut off my hair on Friday night, getting me one step ahead after my first chemo treatment for breast cancer on Friday. It’s an exclusive club you don’t want to join!” She told The Telegraph that she didn’t think it was a good idea to have “four teenage boys” cut your hair. The star said that her husband tried to “cut it nicely,” but she joked that her kids wouldn’t be “famous hairdressers.” She was flattered, though, when they said she looked like Cersei Lannister from the TV show Game of Thrones.

Even though she could talk about it funnily, she insisted that losing her hair was “really, really sad.” But she said that even after being told she had breast cancer, she stayed strong and positive because she had been through something similar with her mother when she was young.
