One of the movies making its debut on Monday is already generating buzz. Perhaps less for the movie than news stories regarding persons involved in the endeavor. , , , and star in ’s “Don’t Worry Darling,” directed by her. 

Given the A-list cast, the captivating trailer for the psychological thriller, and the rumored relationship between Wilde and Styles, there was already hype for the film. (The two haven’t discussed their relationship in public.)

Following a recent interview with Wilde in Variety, in which she discussed receiving legal papers at a CinemaCon event for “Don’t Worry Darling” and refuted rumors regarding pay inequality in the film, interest in the movie increased significantly.

Wilde says I don’t pay much attention to many things out there. The movie’s leading lady, Pugh, has stated that she would prefer media coverage to focus on other aspects of the story rather than just the intimate scenes she has with Styles.

“It’s not why we do it when it’s reduced to your sex scenes or watching the most famous man in the world go down on someone. It’s not why I work in this field, Pugh said to Harper’s Bazaar. Pugh will skip a press conference earlier in the day because of “Dune: Part Two” filming responsibilities.

Still, she is expected to attend the evening film celebrations in Venice on Monday. Other headlines about actor Shia LaBeouf’s prior involvement with the project followed.

They first chose the performer to fill the position that ultimately went to Harry Styles. Despite being “such an admirer of his work,” Wilde told Variety that LaBeouf’s “method was not conducive to the ethos I require in my shows.”In a subsequent article for Variety, LaBeouf refuted the claim that he had been fired from the production. 

He claimed that he had “quit the film due to lack of rehearsal time” and provided the magazine with purported correspondence between him and Wilde in which they discussed his exit from the movie. Warner Bros. Pictures, the parent company of CNN, distributes “Don’t Worry Darling.” On September 23, the movie will make its theater debut after having its Venice premiere on Monday night.
