Pat Sajak, the host of “Wheel of Fortune,” and Vanna White have worked together for years on the game show since 1982.
He hinted at his exit soon from the show as he said, “End is Near.” It’s just a last spin for him.
Pat said, “Years go by fast. We’re near the end. It’s been a long time. We’re not going to do this for another 40 years. The end is near.
“It’s an honor to have been in people’s living rooms for that long. People were out there welcoming us. We’re happy and proud.”
He started hosting in 1981, while Vanna joined him in 1982.
Vanna is famous for turning the letters while the show’s contestants are busy solving riddles and puzzles.
The two hosts have also renewed their contract with the show franchise for 2023-24.
His daughter Maggie is also a member of Wheel of Fortune, working behind the scenes and interviewing people.
Even though Sajak says the end is near, he is still hosting the upcoming season with White, as it will be the show’s third season.
White stated, “people love seeing celebrities and watching them be themselves, not play a character. When they come here, they are themselves, have a good time, play for a great cause, so it’s good for everybody.”
