New Enola Holmes 2 Images Show Millie Bobby Brown & Henry Cavill

A new first look at Enola Holmes 2 has been released, showcasing Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill. In September 2020, the original Enola Holmes film was released based on the first book in the young adult series of the same name by Nancy Springer.

It stars Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes (Cavill), the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes (Cavill), who investigates her mother’s disappearance (Helena Bonham Carter). In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Netflix acquired the distribution rights to the film from Warner Bros.

Netflix continues the sofa with this sequel, which features Cavill, Bobby Brown, Carter, and their co-star, Louis Partridge. As part of the cast of Enola Holmes 2, which is still largely under wraps, Gabriel Tierney, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Serranna Su-Ling Bliss, as well as Wonder Woman villain David Thewlis has been added.

A new set of first-look images from Enola Holmes 2 has been shared by Entertainment Weekly. As they show Enola Holmes running from the police, Sherlock and Tewkesbury investigate what looks like a map, they show what the returning cast is up to.

Sharon Duncan-Brewster also appears as an unknown character who is connected to Enola’s newest case in a third image. It was also revealed that the movie’s official release date is November 4, 2022.  While these new images do not reveal much about Enola’s investigation or the plot of Enola Holmes 2, they do give us a sense of how the film will play out.

In particular, they see Enola taking to London’s streets in a way she has never experienced before. In the sequel film, it’s possible Enola goes back on the run given she seems to be being chased by police.

In the same way, the image of Sherlock and Enola together indicates that her older brother now sees her as an equal, since she has already demonstrated her ability to match wits with the legendary detective. There’s a lot of new material coming out for Enola Holmes 2 this week. Considering Netflix just dropped the teaser of Enola Holmes 2 just one day ago, fans are likely to see a trailer soon.

While the TV giant still has a few months before the release of the Millie Bobby Brown-led film, it is putting all its efforts into promoting it after it recently starred in Stranger Things, one of its biggest hits. Over the coming months, Netflix will likely release a whole lot of teases about Enola Holmes 2.
