Just hours before walking the MTV Video Music Awards black carpet to present the preshow, the radio host revealed that she and Kaepernick had welcomed their first child together a few weeks earlier. She captioned a picture of herself with Kaepernick and their infant on Instagram, I pondered long and hard about our life-changing news today. Because this is the first day in a few weeks that I left for work with a new title, MOM, I made the decision to do so. She did not reveal the baby’s birthdate, gender, or name. She also hailed her husband, calling him the most amazing dad and stating he was by our side for every second of this journey. Despite not making a separate comment, Kaepernick retweeted Diab’s news on his Instagram Stories. Diab, a brand-new mother, utilized her role as VMA red carpet host to solicit parenting advice from stars like DJ Khaled and J Balvin.

The best advice is that there isn’t any, according to J Balvin. He made an effort to be understanding when Diab followed up by wondering if she’d ever get a good night’s sleep again.
