In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a fan poster for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty shows how merciless Kang the Conqueror can be. The Avengers franchise will assemble again in 2025 for Phase 6, a sequel to Avengers: Endgame, as Kevin Feige announced during the Marvel Studios panel at Comic-Con in San Diego.
Destin Daniel Cretton and Shang-Chi will direct the film, which will be helmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director. The character Kang, played by Jonathan Majors, was introduced in season 1 of Disney+’s Loki as “He Who Remains”.
By the season’s end, another variant was teased to have taken over the Time Variance Authority, even though his character was eventually killed by Sylvie (Sophia Marie Di Martino). In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is expected to release in 2023, Majors will reprise his role as Kang. He will then play a larger role in the next two Avengers films.
According to a recent Instagram post by digital artist entomology, Kang the Conqueror is imminent. In the fan-made poster, the Avengers logo is positioned behind Kang in a non-verbal body pose to symbolize dominance. Kang stands above the rubble, encased in his iconic neuro-kinetic battle armor and surrounded by the murdered bodies of Earth’s mightiest heroes.
There is an uncanny resemblance between the fan poster and a scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron in which Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) sees his dead teammates in a grim vision induced by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen).
Despite Tony’s apocalyptic vision not coming to fruition in Avengers: Endgame, in which he sacrificed himself to save the universe, Thanos (Josh Brolin) has tragically killed many revered MCU heroes. The poster thus demonstrates Kang’s capabilities and potential within the grand multiverse calculus.

Despite being confirmed as the main antagonist of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, it is unclear what role the villainous variants of Kang will play in completing Phase 6. This poster only provides a hypothetical glimpse into Kang’s future lethality for the Avengers. As of now, it appears the new team of heroes will face a challenging battle, as Kang will return in the third Ant-Man installment next year.
