Just in time to get us in the Halloween spirit, the Under Wraps 2 trailer arrives

With Halloween just around the corner, Disney Channel is “taking fans on another spooky adventure.” This is a must-see for fans of the original 1997 Under Wraps Halloween season classic and the last year’s remake.

A new trailer, released Aug. 12, shows “even more mummies, scares, and fun,” according to Lauren Kisilevsky, senior vice president of original movies for Disney Branded TV.

In the Under Wraps 2 trailer, we see the usual haunts with a blend of spooky and lighthearted scenes. New villains threaten Harold (Malachi Barton), his beloved Rose (Sophia Hammons), and Amy (Christian J. Simon) in this installment.

A thousand-year-old grudge is held against Harold by the evil mummy Sobek, who is unexpectedly awakened and seeks revenge on Harold. Three friends aren’t going to let that happen!

Sobek kidnaps Rose with help from his hypnotized lucky Larry, so Amy, Gilbert, Marshall, Buzzy, and Harold must put their skills to work once again to save her and make it back to the wedding.”You wouldn’t think mummies were so petty!​

Also starring are Claude Knowlton as Amy’s father, Pop; Antonio Cayenne as Carl; and Old Glory actor Adam Wylie as Beuller, owner of Beuller’s Jewelry. Disney+ will air Under Wraps 2 shortly after its premiere on Disney Channel on September 25th.
