Julie Chen, the Big Brother host has discussed what bothers her most about Kyle Capener’s gaming, which has generated a great deal of controversy this season for a variety of reasons. Julie, 52, said to Entertainment Weekly, There’s something about the way Kyle violated his alliance that disturbs me.
Kyle had thrown ‘The Leftovers’ under the bus to potentially stop previous Head of Household Terrance Higgins from nominating Alyssa Snider and himself for eviction. Soon after he and [Daniel Durston] got the veto, he was hesitant to use the POV to save Alyssa. Instead of saving his showmance or lover, it seemed more like a maneuver to ensure his survival in the game
Kyle told his Leftovers allies that Daniel, who was not a part of their alliance, had elected to remove Alyssa and Indy Santos from the firing squad, therefore the decision was out of his hands after the two obtained the Power of Veto earlier in the season as Festie Besties on the show.
Since neither Alyssa nor Indy was part of the alliance, The Leftovers had hoped to maintain the same nominations; nonetheless, the POV utilized eventually led to Nicole Layog’s elimination. The house was split in half during the most recent double-festival twist of the game, with Alyssa and Kyle on the same side.
Kyle planned The Leftovers to Terrance so he would go for a more threatening Leftovers member, such as Joseph Abdin, instead because he was afraid they would be targeted because of their showmance.

Terrance was terrified by Joseph and Monte Taylor’s sibling-like closeness, which led to Joseph’s eviction from the home, and Kyle’s strategy was successful. After the home was restored after the twist, Kyle convinced his friends that Joseph was to blame for his fate by acting as a double agent within the house and saying things he shouldn’t have.
