Ella Travolta's famous dad, John Travolta, posted about how proud he was of her after her first walk down the runway at the Karl Lagerfeld show during New York Fashion Week.
John Travolta praised his daughter Ella Bleu Travolta on social media after she walked the runway for the first time at the Karl Lagerfeld show at New York Fashion Week. Sharing a photo of the 22-year-old strutting her stuff in a sharp black suit and lingerie-inspired top, the Grease star wrote, “So proud of Ella's debut at fashion week in New York City!” Ella posted the same catwalk photo and two black-and-white behind-the-scenes photos on her own Instagram page. Her proud dad wrote, “I'm so proud of you” with a red heart emoji.
John, whose late wife Kelly Preston gave him Ella and their 11-year-old son Benjamin, has proven to be his daughter's biggest fan over the years. Ella shared a video of herself singing and writing songs on Instagram in November 2021. “I've been working on something very important to me for the past year,” she wrote in the clip's original TikTok description. “I wanted to show you a part of a song I wrote that will be on my EP, which will be released next year. Hope you like it. Very excited (and nervous).”
Many of her fans and followers were impressed, including her famous father, who said, “I'm so happy for you, Ella, it's great. Your dad is happy!”
Two months later, when Ella posted the first video of her song “Dizzy” on Instagram, John made a cute cameo. The musician plays the piano and sings in the cute one-minute video, and the actor joins her for the last verse. When John turns to look at his daughter, he sings the line, “It's okay if you feel dizzy when you're with me. Still love you.” Ella then gives her dad a kiss on the cheek, which he quickly gives back.
And both of them like each other. Ella, who has been in movies with her dad like Old Dogs and The Poison Rose, called him her “best friend” on Instagram for his 68th birthday in February. “Happy Birthday to my role model, my best friend, and the person who taught me one of the most important lessons in life, kindness,” she wrote alongside a throwback photo of herself as a young child sitting on her dad's lap in the grass. “Daddy, I love you with all of my heart.”
