John Michael Montgomery, a prominent figure in the country music scene, was injured in a “severe” bus accident. On Friday, the 57-year-old man and two other people were hurt when the tour bus they were riding in crashed in Tennessee close to the state line with Kentucky.

According to the report, the accident also resulted in injuries for driver Marc Wood of Frankfort, Kentucky, as well as passenger William Salyer of Staffordsville, Kentucky.
