Halsey Gets Food Poisoning Before Appearing at UK Festival

The “Bad At Love” singer disclosed

While in the United Kingdom to perform at the Reading and Leeds Festival, Halsey revealed that they had “exceptionally not f—king chill” food contamination. Halsey is having a nightmare tour.

The “Bad At Love” singer disclosed that they are recovering from contaminated food while in the United Kingdom for the Reading and Leeds festival.

On 27 August

“No idea how I’m still alive after my Leeds set,” Halsey wrote on Aug. 27 on their Instagram Stories. “I’m still sick from foodborne illness! It started yesterday at 2 p.m., and I somehow made it on stage (thanks to the festival’s medical team!).”

Halsey explained that they had previously performed under “messed up situations,” but this was “the worst in recent memory.”

They added

“I felt like I was on Planets the entire time,” they added. “Thank you for being so chill and letting me do whatever I needed to do to survive the shoot! Under ANY situations, let alone those, you guys would have been an incredible crowd. Now it’s time to rest up for today’s reading.”

Later on their Instagram

Halsey posted an update, saying that the festival “didn’t really start how I envisioned it.” They also provided a video of them performing and reviving hospital treatment the night before. They define the foodborne illness expertise as “amazingly not f—king chill” in a voice over.

In another post

Halsey decided to share a photo carousel that included a selfie, photos of their 14-month-old son Ender, and a close-up of the singer’s bloody and bandaged arm with an IV. “24hrs of absolute”wtf “!!tw: blood 4th slide,” the star decided to write in the tag line. Earlier this year, Halsey disclosed that she and her husband had been “in and out” of the hospital due to endometrial complications.

Halsey said

“Clearly, my wellbeing has changed significantly since I got pregnant and gave birth,” Halsey said in Instagram Posts videos posted in May. “I started feeling really, really, really ill… I was hospitalized several times for anaphylaxis [a possibly deadly allergic response] and had other issues.”

The singer continued

“Basically,” the singer continued, “they were given a diagnosis with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s disorder, mast cell activation disease, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome upon seeing a hundred doctors” (POTS).
