Sebastian Roché, who plays Sam Winchester on Supernatural, will have a recurring role in Taylor Sheridan’s new show 1923, which is a spin-off of Yellowstone. Deadline says that there has been no official news about what role the French actor will play in the upcoming movie. On the other hand, we know that he will be working with well-known actors like Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
In the Yellowstone universe created by Paramount+, this new installment represents the completion of the most recent chapter. The streamer describes 1923 as a “origin story” that will come after the critically acclaimed prequel spinoff 1883.
Now that two generations have passed, we will see how the Dutton family lives in the 1900s as they “struggle to survive a historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft,” as the streamer says. “All of this happened under the shadow of Montana’s Great Depression, which happened almost a decade before the Great Depression in the rest of the country,” the sign said.
During the month of February, the announcement of 1923 was made by the series’ executive producer, David C. Glasser. He stated that “Taylor Sheridan has laid roots down for the Dutton family tree that stand strong and tall with many branches that continue to engage record-breaking audiences.”
Roche is best recognised for his performances in the television shows The Young Pope, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and The Man in the High Castle. He is also slated to feature in the upcoming horror series Cabinet of Curiosities.
