Chace Crawford and Antony Starr are off to film ‘The Boys’ Season 4 in a new image

Things are about to get pretty diabolical between and – diabolically fun, that is! A new photo shared by Starr on Instagram shows the actor and his co-star enjoying red and white wine, respectively, while waiting for a flight.

What are the signs that they’re awaiting boarding calls? Both the first and second photos scream airline lounges, and the second shows the two riding first class in those insanely comfortable lounge seats that we can only dream about.

Fans of the Prime Video series are unlikely to recognize Starr without his character’s iconic bleach blonde hair, which is now jet black. We knew the series was going to begin filming at the end of August via star Karl Urban, but this is the first picture we’ve seen of the gang getting together on their way into the studio, so we’re overjoyed.

We saw some jaw-dropping scenes at the end of the third season of the comic book-turned-superhero satirical series. During season 3, played Soldier Boy in a recurring role, and Black Noir got an intricate backstory that was hard to swallow.

Meanwhile, Homelander and Victoria Neuman, two explosively dangerous characters we can expect to see struggle to become the season’s big baddies, emerged. Ryan Butcher, son of Homelander and Becca Butcher, will also have to deal with what happens after he flees back into the arms of his narcissistic psychopathic father after being let down by his father.

There are so many storylines open for the next season that the crew will be able to go nuts. In addition, we can expect to see the familiar faces of returning cast members such as Erin Moriarty, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, Jessie T. Usher, and Colby Minifie returning to the production.

For lack of a better term, it appears that Ackles and McElligott have been removed from the show, but we expect both to return in some capacity come season four. With so many questions left unanswered, we are dying of anticipation! As the Eric Kripke-created series has never been shy about sharing behind-the-scenes updates, more information is bound to come soon.
