Rap god Eminem’s journey towards EGOT STATUS 

We all know the superstar of the rap industry, the rap god Eminem, is one step away from joining the list of rare EGOT personalities of the world. It may be true that Eminem is not in his prime, but he still got everything he needed to be the best rapper in the world. Recently it has been seen that Eminem has still been active in rap and released new hits in recent years.

Eminem to become one of the few EGOT

After winning the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Eminem might be the next artist to receive the EGOT award. Eminem performed in the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent earlier this year when the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals squared off at SoFi Stadium. The Inglewood stadium shouted every popular song performed by the performers on stage for 12 minutes.

One step away from becoming EGOT

Only one more award separates Eminem from the elite club of EGOT winners. For “Lose Yourself” from the movie 8 Mile, Eminem had already won an Academy Award in the Best Original Song category in 2003. Eminem won 15 Grammys in various categories between 2000 and 2019 in a variety of categories. 

Joining the list of EGOT

Eminem would join the likes of Richard Rodgers, Helen Hayes, Rita Moreno, John Gielgud, Audrey Hepburn, Marvin Hamlisch, Jonathan Tunick, Mel Brooks, Mike Nichols, Whoopi Goldberg, and Robert Lopez if he is successful in receiving an honor from the most prestigious award shows.
