Bullet Train: The Spoilers appeared on a different movie’s set

While there’s a lot to take in with Bullet Train, one of the more fun things audiences have been keeping an eye out for are cameo appearances, and while there are a handful of cameo appearances in the film, most of them are minor.

In fact, one of the actors who appeared briefly in the film actually shot his appearance while on the set of a completely different film. The film ends with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds appearing as a fellow assassin.

According to producer Kelly McCormick, the appearance was a sort of payback for Pitt’s appearance in Deadpool 2, and Reynolds filmed it while filming The Adam Project. Brad’s appearance in Deadpool 2 for two seconds is payback, McCormick told Indiewire. It’s almost the same length, that’s the goal.”

According to her, “That was Ryan’s goal. He wanted to give back, and he enjoys playing with David. We keep missing one another because he’s so busy and David’s so busy.” Described McCormick, Reynolds was sent the suit and the footage was then passed back and forth until everything was just right.

He could choose between the suit and helmets we sent him, McCormick explained. Once they shot it, they’d send it over, and David would watch it and say, “Do this version,” or he’d add more notes.
They were literally remote working while we were busy with ours and they were busy with theirs, which was pretty cool.” “Five assassins find themselves on a fast bullet train between Tokyo and Morioka with only a few stops between. Their missions are not completely unrelated to each other.”

Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Brian Tyree Henry are joined in the film’s ensemble cast by Joey King (The Princess, The Kissing Booth), Andrew Koji (Snake Eyes, Warrior), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine, Mortal Kombat), Michael Shannon (Man of Steel, Knives Out), Benito A Martínez Ocasio musician Bad Bunny).

Karen Fukuhara (The Boys), Logan Lerman (Fury, Percy Jackson & the Olympians), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2, Joker), and Sandra Bullock (Bird Box, Speed). The film is directed by David Leitch, based on a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz and a novel by Kazar Isaka.
