Behind-the-scenes moments of Chrissy during the Wonder Woman Video

The singer reunited with his original video girl for his latest song, “Wonder Woman.” The video starred his wife, Chrissy Teigen, on their ninth wedding anniversary. My Wonder Woman and I married nine years ago today.” Legend captioned the video’s premiere post.

“Happy Anniversary, my love. You never cease to amaze me.” The Legend goes shirtless as he sings about his wife’s strength in a scene in the video documenting the couple’s time in Italy.

Teigen’s debut in the music video for Legend’s song “Stereo,” in 2006 was much different. The couple shows off their growing family in “Wonder Woman,” as Teigen shows off her baby bump. It’s not just Teigen who adds some cuteness to the song video.

The couple’s children, Luna, 6, and Miles, 4, also contribute to the overall sweetness of the video. On the set of “Stereo,” Nabil Elderkin introduced the couple, and he later directed the music video that appears in this video.

The couple then reunited with the director, who introduced them before on the set of “Stereo.” Teigen said that Legend planned the shoot when he found out that Elderkin was going to be in Italy at the time of the shoot. She told ET’s Matt Cohen about the shoot: “It was a surprise to me. It was dropped on me last minute.”

It’s amazing that the guy who introduced John and me to each other, Nabil Elderkin, is also an incredible music video director and movie director,” she said. He introduced us and was the one to get our first video together 16 years ago.

And then, Nabil was going to be in Italy again, so John put all the pieces together and said, “Let’s do the Wonder Woman video.” Teigen joked about working during her vacation, saying, “It would be nice to chill, but it’s fine.”

The model said you never lose that skill when stepping back in front of the camera as Legend’s video girl. She quipped, “Oh my gosh, at this point, a video girl never forgets.”

You turn it on, like, “Oh, everything is so sexual and romantic, but you don’t see Luna playing with the bubbles on the other side of the bathtub.” According to her, it just works, and it’s nice, and you kiss, and then you separate, and they say, “Cut,” and you separate. But it’s fun to create art with Nabil. That’s the cool thing. But with us, it’s just funny.”
