At the age of 27, Wisconsin Morning News Anchor died of an apparent suicide. ‘She exuded love and positivity’

“Sometimes, no matter how well you think you know somebody else, you just don’t know what they’re going through,” Neena Pacholke’s sister started after the newscaster died. Neena Pacholke, a 27-year-old television news anchor for ABC associate WAOW in Wausau, Wisconsin, died on August 27.

On Monday

Pacholke’s older sister, Kaitlynn Pacholke, confirmed her sister’s death to the Tampa Bay Times on Monday, saying Neena committed suicide. “By far the joyous individual I thought I knew,” Kaitlynn according to the New York Times.

“Sometimes, no matter how well you think you know someone, you just don’t know what they’re going through,” She was adored by all. She was fantastic at her job.”

On Sunday

WAOW declared Neena’s death, writing, “the entire squad here at News 9 is absolutely overwhelmed by the loss, as we know that numerous others are as well.” The declaration of her death on the depot included a request for mental health resources.”Neena loved this society and the people who lived here,” according to the station. “She was a marvellous person with a big heart and a devious smile, and she’ll be deeply missed,” says the family.

According to the Times

 Neena was a basketball star at Freedom High School in Tampa, Florida, and continued to play three years of college sports as a shield at the University of South Florida, where she would be a member of two NCAA Tournament team members. Her specialist website states that she began working as an anchor in 2019 after joining WAOW as an audiovisual reporter in 2017.

Neena, who was set to marry, had grown into a Green Bay Packers fan and an avid snow skier whilst also working in Wisconsin. “It was an honour to be your co-anchor, Neena. “You played Batman, and I played Robin.” Neena’s founder, Brendan Mackey, paid homage to his coworker on Facebook on Monday. “When I merged WAOW, you made it very clear that we were going work hard and compete at a high level. Let us remember Neena Pacholke as the wonderful person she was. The brightest light in the room. “The most humourous giggle and the largest grin,” he proceeded.
