The Satellite Award winner Anna Kendrick and her team faced a minor misfortune while attending the Toronto International Film Festival. She and her team were struck in an elevator on their way to the event. She even recorded the entire episode of what happened inside the Elevator.
Anna Kendrick uploaded the footage on her Instagram account and wrote a note.
“Ah, the classic ‘I’m behind schedule at this film festival because I had to be rescued from an elevator’ excuse #TIFF22.”
In the footage shared, she mocked the allowance of food needed and the importance of carrying water bottles to places they visit. As she switches her camera to the other side, the Elevator is packed with her team members, and they are finding a way to leave the Elevator; the 37-year-old actor is in a joyful mood by “just vibing.”
After a while, the fire service was called in for a mini-rescue operation, and the ladder was lowered into the Elevator. Even then, nothing can’t stop this actor as she joked about how she was wearing the right attire as she was not wearing any mini skirt. Had she been, it would not have been easy while climbing up the ladder. It was a god-sent message for Anna Kendrick, who asked her to go for a long skirt.
After making her way out, she thanked the firefighters and said,
“And I’m in love with every single one of you.”

Anna Kendrick attended the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her next movie, “Alice, Darling”. This rescue incident was narrated by her during an interview with People and Entertainment Weekly.
It was Canadian firefighters who got her out, and she was made to crawl out the top of the hatch and added,
“But, yeah, it was, like, seven of us in an elevator just waiting to be rescued by firefighters. It was so absurd that it would happen on a film press tour that it just seemed so immediately comical.”
